I read on a earlier thread that you could get a permit on-line for the MT. Hood Forest now, does anyone have a link for the site? I guess I'm lazy not trying to find it myself but.....

It's pretty bogus though that the rules state you can only have a gallon per person in possesion. Guess it's been ruined by the King Bolete and Mautsutaki hunters that rake the soil looking for the youngest ones.

I saw a gentlemen out yesterday, with some kind of hook, and a paper bag. What might he have been doing? It was a long stick/pole, with a hook on the end???
