Default My new backyard....before, after, and "the wall"

After a lot of hard work (not mine), and one check written and signed (that part was all me!)...we finally have a backyard in the new house. Progression pictures follow:

Before.....

And after....

(note the curved retaining wall to hide the concrete wall under the neighbors red shed...

(note the unhidden part of the neighbors pretty wall)

Finally....grass, plants, no more dirt. All we need now is the fence.

Thanks. Note that the property line is not that other fence...its where you see the barkdust end at the top of the rock wall. Fence is still to go up, at some point.

Just how tall is that fence on the concrete wall going to be? Looks gi-normous in the picture.

Looks like tanning au natural may be out for you.

I bought my house with an unfinished back yard. Like you, the most physical labor I did was lift a pen. Mine took 6 days for the landscape crew to finish. It was really cool coming home each day and seeing the progress they had made.

It likes real nice...In the situation you are in, I don't think that I would really mind the big fence. I can't rememeber, did they ask you to share cost? Or are they just so eager to block you out, they are footing the bill?

I'm going to guess...from start to finish with all plants and topsoil included...$3500-$4000.

Close?
