Fire Closure - Coast Units
iFisher's beware. The Troopers are checking for fire equipment and if you do not have it you will be expected to leave the woods. I found out that hard way what the small print at the bottom of the sign says today and 1/2 a mile from my spot 45 minutes before sunrise - had to leave and get a shovel and a gallon of water. The water can be substituted for 2 1/2 lb extinguisher. Shovel must have a 26" handle and an 8 inch wide blade.
By the time we got back we missed sun up by an hour, our spot was fogged in so we made the best of it. A Few Doe at the cuts edge was all we accounted for.
