Default Will the north coast fish tomorrow?

Well I was planning on going to drift either the Wilson, Nestucca, or the Kilchis tomorrow with some buddies but with the rain they are forecasting I am wondering if we should save the gas money. I rarely fish either of those rivers so I don’t know at what height they become colored-up. They are both supposeto rise at least a couple of feet. Any info would be great. Thanks.

7 feet is kind of high for the Wilson. 4 to 6 is more optimal. Plus, it will be rising to 7. I would do something else. Of course the river forecasts are frequently wrong, so you could get up at o-dark-thirty and see it is dropping already into perfect shape. If the river is still climbing strong this afternoon as forecasted, I would plan for something else.

Depends on how fast the Wilson is rising. I fished it a week ago at 7 feet and it was dropping very slowly after a very slow rise. 7 feet was very fishable, and the color was perfect. But I think the key was the slow rise and fall. We even picked up a couple fish and the drift was very easy, even for a novice like myself.

So it sounds like a no go for the Wilson at least. Will the Little Nestucca or the Kilchis be a better option or will both of thoes be out of shape also? Thanks
