Home theater on the way!
After 20 years of tiny tv and misbehaving stereo, the sweetie caved in and has let me get the big toys for grown up boys. Coming in a few days, just in time for the world series, will be a 56 in Samsung, pioneer receiver, and new Axiom speaker setup. There will be bugs frying in the family room at the Hilton's!

Your gonna love the home theater, got one in my house and it surely gets alot of use, it also devourages the power...

I'm putting in a circuit just for the system. I did the math on the room - 3 computers, a bunch of lights, a big screen TV and 800 watts of stereo don't work.

The brown-outs in California a few years ago were caused by less of a draw than this.

Well, it is true that I will be measuring success by whether of not the neighbors' lights dim when I fire it up. Wretched excess, thy name is Andrew!
Also thinking about getting rid of the AMD based kids computer, if only because of the fan noise.

I'm really looking forward to The Series on HD with surround sound. Congrats Silver. When you're all done watching sports, get Finding Nemo on that bad boy to make it up to the family.
