I go to work for a day and everyone responds
Gus, I am looking for a Classic in .280 for a couple reasons, I love the line of these guns. I also have a .300 WBY in the classic and it is a great gun. I have a .280 in the Mtn. Rifle and it is also a pretty good gun, I have carried this gubn for 15 years now and killed many deer with it but I want something that has a longer barrel and like I said I really like the looks of the Classics. Remington isn't making anything this year in .280 except the Mtn. Rifle so Options are limited. I have looked in to a Stainless/Synthetic in .280 but will have to find a dealer with one from last year still.
Not that I need anohter gun but you can't have to many right. Have tossed around the idea of a 25/06 and a few of the other calibers in that range.
Here is the list of calibers that have been available, there are a few I would like to have.
