Default Buffalo hunt!!!

Would you go??

I'd do it in a heartbeat!! These animals are about as wild as they have ever been...not that buffalo have ever been terribly smart.

Yeah, I'd go...and I'm ready!

I'd try doing it just the way they did it in the 1870s!

Heck yes! Buff meat is awesome but I bet the out of state tag would be $$$$$$$$.

Yellowstone buffalo are about as spooky as range cows( maybe less). The meat would be good, but I doubt it's a very challanging hunt.

I've seen some videos of various "Ranch Hunts".

The "good ones" have fairly wild Buffs out there...once the herds have been shot at, they get pretty spooky.

Just like in the old days, they'll take off once you get within about 250-300 yd.s from them...if they see you.

Of course there are other hunts, and there they are about like range cattle...not much challenge and not much fun.

But the meat's good. In the 1870s the Hump, Rump and Tongues were preferred over the beef that was available at that time.

I have a friend that hunted a reservation in Montana this year. He tagged two Elk and One buffalo in a weeks hunting. I think I would love to try it.

Alaska has three different wild buffalo herds and it is a draw hunt. Nothing like huntin' in th true wilderness!
