I can't confirm any of these spots, as I pump my own, but I would try down near the docks, where they rent crab rings, etc. The hardware store used to carry bait, but I don't know if they still do. Also, there is a place just east right as you go over the slough that advertises sand shrimp (and crab, bait, etc.) Upriver a bit, there's Oakland's that probably carries them as well. Good luck!

Fisherman's Corner in Philomath sells sand shrimp even though they were out this morning. West end of town on the left. They open at 5am. $2.99 dozen.

$15 for the gun, and in 10 minutes, I guarantee you can get at least 5 dozen. I usually work for 2 hrs and get around 60 dozen.

If you could find just a little bit of time, it would be very worth your while

Here's another nudge to encourage you to stop at Fisherman's Corner in Philomath...the folks who run the place are super nice! I stopped there several times last year on the way to landing my first fall Chinook. Lot's of information as well as supplies and gear. I couldn't wait to stop back by to show off my "trophy," and the owner was right there to snap a picture, too!

Kozy Cove is where I would go. Dock of the Bay (the place that rents crab rings) in waldport will NEVER get any of my business again.
