Default fishing around La Grande

I just moved to La Grande and I wondered where was a good spot to go fishing. I enjoy all kinds of fishing. Any advice would help me thanks bignate

Bignate, in about a month, (MAYBE EVEN SOONER) things out to be off the hook on the Grande Ronde out by the town of Troy.

Steelhead like crazy! usually run 5-10 lbs.

If your a fly fisherman, don't forget to check out the Owyhee river for big browns and rainbows.

Anthony lakes, and the other alpine lakes above Baker have trout that are stocked every year they are usually not too hard to get, you can get steelhead from the Grande Ronde or from the Snake River below Hell's canyon dam. Phillips lake on occasion is good for ice fishing, make sure its safe before you go. The Imnaha river is also good, big bull trout, steelhead and such. Wallowa lake has kokanee. Lots of trout streams in the vicinity, just explore and enjoy. Good luck to you.
