Default Custom gun checkering

My mom, Teresa Planton, does custom gun checkering for people all over the world. Her work has been featured in magazines and she has a long list of very satisfied clients. If you, or someone you know, are interested in having anything (gunstock, knife, duck call, etc.) checkered or recheckered or if you have any questions regarding checkering shoot me a PM. Have a great season. Stay safe.

Now's the time for those of you whose seasons are over to do some maintenance on your rifles. Clean them well and store them with a very thin coat of oil to prevent rust on the metal parts. Do not store ammo with your gun especially if you have little ones around. If you keep your rifle in a soft case make sure there is no moisture trapped inside. I know that for many of us it's hard to take the stock off a gun that shoots well the way it is and equally hard to put any time into a gun that doesn't shoot well but if your family is like mine your rifle will be passed down from generation to generation so it's your duty to take care of your son or daughter's or niece or nephew's future prized posession. They will appreciate it and so will whoever gets it after them. Teresa Planton's checkering along with some touch-up or total rebluing can make even the oldest gun look and feel new again. I hope you all had or are having a great season. If your season is yet to come, good luck, and be safe.
