Idaho Elk permits
I was just wondering if any of the guys on the board got drawn for Idaho Elk this year.
There were several that had mentioned putting in for a tag last winter,,, just wondering if any of you got lucky??? id. painter

I drew my deer tag, and will be flying into the middle fork of the salmon again.

Yes we are going in November. My first trip in their last year was incredible. Beautiful rugged country, with lots of animals 
It is a tad steep climbing out of the bottom to hunt though 
Thought about purchasing an elk tag also, but had to cut the expenses somewhere.

Bonk,B.B. You only have to draw to hunt specific hunts , there is a general season you just buy a tag for. id. painter
