Weekend with Van Halen (Pics added)

Had a great weekend as I posted earlier under Opening Weekend Bow and thought I might show a pic of our great group, and a little of the country.

Here is our group of 5 after getting Ryans elk out, the 2nd from the left. Sammy is in the middle.


This picture is of my brother retrieving his broadhead, realizing that they arent as easy to retrieve from a log as from a legit target.


It was a nice change hunting there instead of the coast range, I didn't get a chance to eat crap falling down the hills and the joy of picking stickers out of my hands and legs, but thats what I have to look forward to after tonights hunt in the good old ELLIOT forest. WOOHOO. Sorry for some confusion, my brother informed me it was not the Blue Mt. range.

We have pics of the elk, but unfortunately they were on a regular camera, not the digital one. I will post them when I get them.

i'm really thinking about heading up in the woods with the calls even though I don't have an archery tag and see if I can lure some hunters in.. always fun!

Yea, its fun until you get shot like that guy did rattling :shocked: last year...
