Default G3 Boats

Just wanted to know if anyone has any informantion on the G3 boats made by Yamaha? I'am checking out different boats and wanted info. from people that had one.

I had one just before Jamaha bought them. From what I see The Jamaha ownership has improved them. I really liked mine. I had a 16' with the slight v in it, and of course I had a small OBJ on it. Make sure you get the welded version not the rivited one. Welded has lower ribs and the shotgun shells get trapped under the rivited version.

We had a 17 ft G3. It was a good boat for what it was, but they have pretty low sides. That was the only downfall of the boats. That and they only had like 4.5' wide bottoms.

We had a 140hp Evinrude jet on it, so it was kinda a wild ride.
