Default Tillamook Bay weather question for today. Help =/

I have never fished Tilly bay before but since the Columbia is closed and my father in law is in town to fish we were going to head down there this morning. However, I got up and checked the weather like I always do and see a small craft advisory and winds 16-22 knots. I'm guessing it would be miserable to dangerous down there but I have no idea what to expect. Being new to the area concerns me too. I have maps of the bay and was planning on fishing the ghost hole area. Can someone with experience tell me if we should go or stay home? It's not been a good week so far - between slow URB fishing and my truck breaking down over the weekend and now the weather - well I feel bad for him. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Those are some pretty heavy winds. Even if it was safe to be in the Ghost Hole (which I can't really speak to), you're still going to kite like mad in that kind of wind making trolling difficult to impossible. I would suggest thinking about a local trib that should have some silvers stacking up.
