I pity the Foo!
I piti the foo that never gets to feel that anticipation before getting out to hunt or fish.
The way that black coffee makes your heart start up and how the cup helps to warm up your hands.
Hiking out as the sun starts up over the far away hills.
That break that your brain and your spirit get when you get a chance to step away from your everyday jobs and phones, and commuting etc.
Makes me cherish every moment i get out in a duckblind, or on a hillside with my dogs. Each moment is a chance to reflect and to contemplate.
Each Covey flushed is exciting, and somehow expected and suprising all rolled into one.
So
I am off to Idaho tomorrow with My friend Ben, & my Dog Alex & Ben's dog Brittany.
Got my trout gear ready, got about 10 boxes of #4-#6 for my 20 Ga.
Got a whole week to chase Birds and ditch my cell phone.
Sage grouse, Chuckar and Hun all open on the 18th and we are going to give them a run for it!
So I wish you all the best, and hope that you'll follow suit and get out there while the getting is good
.
I pity the foo that cant get out and enjoy what is out there.
