Has anyone been out and about in the Malheur drainage around Juntura or the Owyhee, and how is the Brownlee area shaping up ? What say you bird hunting afficionados !

I heard there are a lot of birds along the Snake. Should be good all over.

I've heard alot of birds along the Snake. Haven't heard as many along the Owyhee, Malheur or John Day.

A friend just got back from the Thousand Creeks area just over the border into Nevada (near Denio) and reported lots of chukers down there. I'm thinking it's shaping up to be a good year.

How 'bout some reports from the antelope scouts and archery hunters. You guys flushing any birds?

Tons of birds on Brownlee, not so may on the Owyhee. I still hear a few every time I go over, but not like last year. I'm thinking Brownlee for the opener.
