Picked up the video yesterday at the Sportsmans Warehouse. Pretty good tape for amature filmers. It was awesome to see a goose hunting video filmed right here in the valley. Worth the $20.00 bucks. I assume that the last hunt on the video was the Ifish hunt. That sequence is fantastic. I can't wait for this years hunt.

Thanks Flathead! Yes the last hunt was indeed the Ifish hunt. What a bunch of great guys! It was a blast - all except getting lost in the fog that is hehe. Dave and I are really looking forward to this years hunt!

I'm thinking of making a video called "Striking Out." It will be my usual hunting season with an all-new cast (since no one will hunt with me two seasons in a row.) I don't even kill enough birds to make PETA mad.

Actually I'm going to pick up that video tomorrow and my NEW Saunders call!!!

My poor, poor wife and dog. They get to listen to me learn.

Let me know if you want to do some hunts this year. I've got some pretty good ground over by the Corvallis airport, south of Peoria next to the refuge, and some south of Halsey. I always get plenty of birds each year and usually hunt every weekend during the permit zone season. My hunting partners from Portland come down only a couple of times a year and I'm usually by myself. I've got a couple of dozen Outlaws and can call, sort of, anyway a few dumb birds come in. It's primitive hunting, no Final Approach blinds, just natural cover and netting.
