Open seat, Wednesday, Newport

I plan on taking Silverfish out of Newport Wednesday morning, conditions permitting. Fish for chinook and if successful early, then for lings and bottomfish. If the bar is closed when we get there, then we'll fish in Y bay, I hear some salmon are in the bay. It doesn't look like the ocean will lay down enough for a tuna run, but one can hope....

Silverfish is a 23 ft Edwing with pilothouse, 200 and 15 Hondas, vhf, ff, radar, and downriggers. I've had the boat just over a year, made about 20 trips last year and another 20 this year. pm me if interested or if you have questions, it will be tomorrow afternoon before I can get back to you. I may have questions for you also. Plan to leave Corvallis about 5, be in Newport about 6:30. Be nice to have experienced and knowledgeable salmon fishers and/or to have folks that meet me in Corvallis.
