Default Fuel contamination - Buoy 10

Just wondering if anyone else had problems with fuel contamination after purchasing fuel at either Hammond or the West Basin at Astoria. Not trying to point fingers toward either facility, just trying to locate the source of the problem.
Thanks.

I got 60 or so gallons at Hammond two weeks back, and had no problems. I'm broke, but the gas was good.

I fueled at Hammond several times and never had a problem.

Check your gaskets in the fill system. I have heard of issues with the vent system (check valves) also.

Thanks for the feedback. I have the tank totally removed from the boat and being cleaned---------still have no idea what this ugly stuff is in the tank. Good to know others did not have the same problem. Locking gas cap may be the solution!
thanks again,
GS
