7mm TCU - Got any???
Just acquired a couple of hand cannons in 7TCU and am looking for someone who has some lying around or has the means to make some ammo.

Re: 7mm TCU - Got any???
I second that. I could use some more to.
This guy was the only guy I found on the web that people trusted that made 7mmTCU ammo. His old site had all the info but it looks like he did an up grade and still aint done.

Re: 7mm TCU - Got any???
I would just like to find enough to shoot these guns to see if I like 'em or not. I have a T/C Contender Super 14 and a Remington XP-100, both are in 7 TCU, and I wanna shoot them real bad!!!

Did the guns come with dies? If they did, you should be able to form your brass.
A longshot is "Buzztail brass" . Look in "handloader" magazine.

Re: 7mm TCU - Got any???
I've got a Dillon RL550 and an RCBS Rockchucker set up in the garage, but no dies, so I'm really stuck until I find some dies or someone who has some loaded up already.

Re: 7mm TCU - Got any???
RCBS should have dies( trivia for the day- RCBS stands for " Rock Chuck Bullet Swage" and thats the rest of the story) in stock on the shelf. They are in Oroville Ca.
Do the case forming on a single stage. QC is much easier when you slow down a notch. After things are figured out, crank up the Dillon.

Re: 7mm TCU - Got any???
How about a set of reloading dies. I have a set of Redding dies for a 7 TCU sitting in my reloading cabinet. It is a 3 die set. Full lenght sizer, neck sizer, and bullet seater die. I had a barrel for a contender in my silhouette shooting days. The barrel is shot out and I would be willing to part with the dies. Let me know if you are interested. I bet we could work out a deal.

You should be able to get dies at Midway, Midway Shooting Supply, Just do a search for what you want.

Re: 7mm TCU - Got any???
Update: Got 100 rounds of new .223 brass reformed in a 7tcu die online, put a little powder behind a 154gr Spire and let things fly. This is the XP-100 caught at ignition and accuracy was very good. 50 cases are now fireformed awaiting arrival of a set of dies. 25 for the XP, and 25 for the Contender. I was able to get a 1/2 inch group with the Contender at 40 yards offhand with open sights, but the sights on the XP weren't working well with my eyes - couldn't focus on both sights. Didn't even bother measuring the group on that one. Now that I've shot them, I can't wait to start working up loads for them! Next time to the range I will also take the 30/30 Contender that I got at the same time as the two 7TCU's, but I have to get a scope for it first - it has rings & base and no sights. Kingfisher85, if you have one and are waiting for ammo for it, hold tight and I'll see what I can do, I'm up that way quite a lot - I have a place at the hideaway.
