Default Sandy rumor put to rest!!!

I was told by a Fishermans's employee there were are few Coho in the traps up at the Sandy hatchery. I realy didnt beleave him. I had to see for my self. Loaded all my gear just in case . Well I got the the Hatchery and walked over to the ladders and holding pond. As I thought....... There was not even water running in the ladder. So Let those rains hit and then we can see if there are any fish in the trap

Yeah, I noticed the same thing. They are not even pulling water in the trap.

The fish I hit today were nowhere near Cedar Creek, but they were in the Sandy.

One must remember that last years August was the wettest August in over thirty years and that all of the precip came in on one weekend or so. This year will be different unless we get drenched big time. Right now we are seeing the first couple, look for more fish to trickle through the system until water comes up some.
