I don't think they make an 18 footer anymore, but the 16's sure do look tough.

A friend of mine has a 21' pilot house that is a dream to fish from. Back when the US dollar was strong against the Canadian buck they were a top notch value for the money. Now they are simply another great expensive boat.

Sounds like you have the perfect set up. I wish my buddies had a boat like that. Maybe someday.... I got a quote from them yesterday, and it was a bit higher than I expected. I guess I'll have to wait for the American dollar to recover (not looking good).

silver streak are a custom boat company, sometimes make speck boats for boat show etc. usually take orders and make what you want from drift, to river or larger ocean. I've been to their shop on vancouver Island. The whole staff was taking a few weeks off to go fishing. Good to know they test their products. They have no problems selling and very few used show up so don't expect to get a deal on the price but haven't heard any complaints on the product

I bought a 16' westcoaster bayrunner. The Canadian dollar is insane right now. (or should I say, "our dollar" is insane).

I still love their boats, just can't afford one right now. Look at Brownslanding.com they make a boat that is semi-similar. If you're looking for a runnabout, they might have what you're looking for.
