Default Black Powder Rifle Question

My brother just bought a CVA Apollo precussion black powder rifle for our up coming hunt in Oregon. My question is, are in-line percussion rifle legal in Oregon?

Thanks!

Yes, in-lines are legal.BUT need to be open ignition. Lots of regs here concerning muzzle loaders in muzzle loader only seasons. Get a copy of the regs and check out page 17. Good Luck.....sal

The way I understand it, any inline with an open ignition system can NOT be converted to a 209 primer system. Every ML I brought to Oregon is illegal. Bummer!
