NWS Marine Forecast on AM Radio 1650 - Newport

I never knew I could get the NWS Marine Weather Forecast on the car radio, but found it at 1650 when in Newport. I found it while getting to the USCG Bar Report (thanks to USCGBoating, and USCG Yaquina Bay).

Now when in Newport, I can get the USCG Bar Condition Report at 1610, and the NWS Marine Forcast at 1650, on the radio dial.

Does this mean that I can use the Hairy Ear, rather than the Hairy Eyeball ??
