more trail cam pics
I picked up my camera the day before bow season on the way over the hill headed east.
The entire roll was taken so I was pretty excited to get them developed when I got back. I had about 10 pics of one doe that walked thru the camera on super slow motion, and the camera kept banging away at her
Then I had 2 guys walk down the trail I was set on. They walked right into the camera and on by, then a bit later they walked back, not sure how much time went by but the shadows had moved a bit. I am sort of surprised they didnt see the camera. Here is a picture showing they probably never made a living working in the woods. They wouldnt get much done with their pants hanging like this. I am sure they make their mom proud

I guess what happens in the woods, no longer stays there.

I think you stumbled upon a weed farm or something like that. Either that or you need a better trail

I don't think a cougar would eat that.

Re: more trail cam pics
I love the direction this thread took
I got several pics of these characters, the shadows didnt move much from their trip down the trail till back up the trail so I could assume the garden isnt far
One of them has a big tatoo across his back, in what looks like gothic type letters, and the other guy has some funky large letters and what looks like a big dagger tattoed on his forearm.
There was an old growth stump just down the trail

How far from the road is your camera? If it's more than a couple hundred yards I'd be real curious about what's happening there.

That is hilarious. BOE, sorry that your hunting spot didn't turn out to be as secret as you might have hoped. It's a good reminder of who/what else is in those woods besides the four legged creatures!

Re: more trail cam pics
Roy, your choices for Trail cam set up have been pretty unique lately. Most guys get deer and elk you get loggers and scumbags. : )

Re: more trail cam pics
I bet Roy could set up a "trailcam" 60 miles west of the beach and he still would not get any pics of tuna just tweekers.
stump breaking is a good start for these boys.

Re: more trail cam pics
It isnt like I didnt get a "natural" critter
I could have shown you an old doe, but "britches" was a lot more interesting wasnt he I have no intention of hunting here, or would I probably hunt in the area, I was just looking for a place close to home to hang the camera and see if I couldnt get some pics.
BTW, this trailcam spot is 0.4 miles from where I park the rig, so these guys werent just out of the rig to go pee or something that could be easily explained
Maybe I will have to stop again and see if I can find the tomato patch.

Re: more trail cam pics
I'd be careful before you go trying to find the patch. If these guys happen to be comming in, or are in there the same time as you there could be some real problems. I would leave it to the police to try and find the crops.

Sept is harvest time for a certain crop that they may be checking.

Re: more trail cam pics
A few weeks ago I was hiking into a fishing hole about a half mile off the main road. I saw a girl walking through the woods carrying about a five gallon jug of water.......hhhhmmmm, wonder what someone carrying that much water would be doing way out here?????????
