Default WHEW! that was no fun

I've been getting all my bow hunting gear ready for Elk time, and just could not find my tag. I know I had bought it back in MAY  looked everywhere. Finally, it showed up.
I was freakin out!
For the most part I'm prepared, or as much as a guy can with a very active 2-year old occupying most of my time. I'm not in the shape I wish I was, but I'll gut it out.
I wish you all the very best of luck, and be safe out there.
Shoot straight!

Dang, I hate when that happens. I feel for you as I have a 3 and 5 year old always wanting my time and they usually get it. I told them they'll get a real gun or a bow when their around 30 . Until then a packboard and a GPS is all they'll need. I'll kill and they'll pack em' Just kidding Have a great time. Kris.

At least you didn't get out in the field before you realized that you didn't have it. I always keep mine in the same backpack that I carry to hunt or fish, but I took it out while checking my draw results online once and left it by the computer. Had to drive an hour back to the house to get it, which put a serious dent in the fishing time.

Baltz that really sucks!! I can only imagine the conversation with yourself the whole trip home. "You stupid son of a bi***". I bet there was a lot of four letter words tossed around.

OK I ahve done somthing similar not as bad as Baltz but we drove all night over to summer lake to go archery deer hunting years ago. On the way over we stopped to get somthing to eat at silver lake. I paid for my dinner hopped into my truck and drove to camp. We were about 60 miles from camp. I get to camp feeling very rummy and start to pack every thing for the next day and I can't find my wallet or my lisence . I started thinking about where I had used my wallet last remmbered the resturant packed up camp and drove back. I had been awake for about 20 hours by this time. I get back to the resurtant and it was closed. So I slept setting up right in my truck along the highway next to a grave yard with a piece of tin on a shed that was loose that grated when ever the wind blew and it blew all night. In the morning I waited for the lights on the resturant as soon as a lady drove up I was right behind her I think I scared her but she said she would look for a wallet. She found it and I drove back and slept though opening day
