Default Rod for Katrina Victims

The victims of Hurricane Katrina need help, and I figured that since I can't physically go down there to help, and I have limited funds (I'm only a high school student) I would have to find a way to raise money for the victims. I figure that this new rod isn't much use for me, and I really don't have the money to buy a new reel or line for it, but I know that the American Red Cross could always use some more money. This rod is a 7' Cortland CL Graphite 3/4 wieght fly rod. You can check it out at this website: Cortland Line Co.. It is new, but the handle has its plastic wrap removed. It is an awesome rod for panfish/trout, and makes even the smallest brookie seem emormous. I will start the "bidding" at $75. The bidding will start imediately and continue until Friday the 9th (this gives those away on vacation time to bid). To bid just post a reply to this thread w/ your price. All money will be donated to The American Red Cross. This item can be either shipped, picked up, or even dropped off if need be. I would suggest anyone with similar ideas to contact Jennie. These people need our help and money in this time of tragedy.

Thanks,
Justin
