Are you looking forward to this season?
Just got my mount back from the taxidermist.
Got this bull last year and had it done by Tim Brown of Natural Instincts.
Is any one else looking forward to the upcoming season?

Re: Are you looking forward to this season?
Nice bull. I am looking forward to deer season, but really wish we had drawn elk tags like we had expected. There are other options for elk, hunt near home, go spike hunting etc... but I don't like any of them. Hopefully we will find some decent deer though.

 Very nice bull! I have a hard time waiting for any seasons, but deer and elk are especially hard! Only a few more months!

1st Rifle season in Northeast Oregon.
Remington 700, 30-06 with 180 Gr. factory safari A-Frame loads. I was able to recover the bullet from the animal - looked like a picture out of a magazine. Perfect Mushroom and 95% weight retention. I'm sold on those premium bullets now.

Re: Are you looking forward to this season?
I can almost hear the music from Jaws, it's coming, it's getting closer, closer.
I'm currently unemployed and have a very long archery season coming up in four weeks.
I've been out scouting my hunting area three time in the last three weeks and either seen elk or fresh sign.
Yes I'm looking forward to it.

Does a fat baby fart? Of course I'm looking forward to it. I'm hunting trophy mulies in the rut in Montana.

Re: Are you looking forward to this season?
Fishing is fun and all. But hunting is best. Too bad you can't hunt all year long.
Got a buck deer tag this year. Should be a hoot.Great folks there. A great chance to watch my wife try to, but not, shoot a buck. The saga continues.
Me and Dad have a duck blind 10 minutes down the road. Wonderful company there too.

Re: Are you looking forward to this season?
Nice Bull. This should be a special year for me.
Taking my 12 year old son on his first Deer hunt.
Paulina unit and drew Hair tags for Heppner for Elk. Hope to find a bull like the one above  .
What a great state we live in ! So much fishing and hunting, so little time.

Re: Are you looking forward to this season?
Oh Yeah!! Ukiah Mountain bucks the first week, if not successful there, we'll hunt the Nye junction hunt club. Then it's cow season at the cabin at the top of yellowjacket! Am I gloating? As willamette said, " It's fishing season now, quit distracting us!

Re: Are you looking forward to this season?
Well,
It's gonna be busy, trying to score an elk in Oregon, then (at least) a week in AZ with my bow tag, then back to Oregon just in case.
I haven't had a fishing thought in about three days now.
