Default Trail Cam Elk - A Photo History?

Sorry for the pic-heavy post, but I got a bunch of pictures last week of the herd bull in the area I hunt. I think he might be the same bull I've gotten pictures of two of the last three years.

Here are some pictures of him from last week. I found a bedding area they've been using heavily and he was good enough to pose for about 10 or 12 pictures.

And here's the picture from 2002 that I think is him:

And here's 2004:

In all these pictures, his brow tines are very close together, and his main beams are real wavy where the G-4 points come out. Anyway, I thought it was pretty cool to get these pics of him. The herd bull from the last few years seems to have disappeared without my getting any good pictures of him, which is a shame since he was real big.

WOw that is great. I ho-pe you take him and can put together a little photo history to go with the mount.

I have to say that is very impressive because every picture of him is during legal shooting hours. Do you have any night time pictures of him or is everything during the day?

Talk about having figured this guy out. If I might ask what unit is this big guy in?

What a stud bull. Have you gotten on him yet this year? Have you tried a tree stand by the wallow? Cool pics. Wheels.

Wheels - I set up my treestand on Sunday morning. I stopped by the wallow on Saturday afternoon and I think I must have just missed a bull because there was fresh mud everywhere and the water was still muddy. I'm pretty sure it wasn't the bull in these pictures, but you never know. I should have had the stand up already, but I'd almost given up on treestand hunting because I have trouble sitting still that long. I think I'll give it another go this next weekend though.

kodiakfisher - I've got one picture of him from 2002 that is right at last light. Everything else is during the daytime. I wouldn't say I've got him patterned though, since I've only seen him a couple of times in person.

The unit these pictures are from is in southwest Oregon.
