Default NOAA web site down?

Is it just my computer or is the NOAA National Data Buoy Center web server down? Check this link NOAA NDBC and let me know if it works for you. It has always worked for me in the past. Kinda hard to check the Stonewall Banks buoy without it. :depressed:

Roost-a-Fish,

It's been down all day!

Must be overloaded because of Katrina.

If you want local data, the Portland site has been up all day. The Pac NW Coastal Marine Data page is up, too.

Thats a 10-4 on National Weather Buoy Center being down in Hanncock County, Mississippi. Last time was Hurricane Ivan in 2004 reports Bay Area Tuna Club. Radio transmissions not down if you have access.

Right you are ... local link page works, but the seaboard.ndbc.noaa.gov is plugged.

To Everyone.... I use this website just about everyday.... if the private interests get our government to only publish weather warnings, and we have to purchase this basic service, I'll be upset... so who should I write to in Olympia, WA ??? [I can't change the world, but I can make my thoughts known to my elected politician[s]]... Craig

Craig...See my other post "Found A Way In"...Don't think it's come to that yet, I think it's the overload of the hurricane
