Default Nibble..nibble....so i set the hook !

I was fishing a popular Oregon river this morning and i caught my first fish of the year...I don't really fish that much in the winter anymore but give it a try once in a while.

This is not an advertisement nor do i use cans to catch fish.

What is sad here is why does a great picture of a beautiful fish needs to be ruined because some disrespectful angler couldn't pack out what he packed in. I am sick and tired of the garbage idiot fisherman leave behind. From beer cans (usually lite beer) to lure packages to worm containers to disposable diapers, it all makes me sick. It is unbelievable how much trash I pick up when I am on the river. Come on people, carry plastic bread wrappers in your vest and pack it out. Leave it better than you found it. Thank you for letting me vent.

Wiser?, Since you chimed in that might let the cat out of the bag..but..Nope...I don't drink and fish... #1 rule with me  You're gonna love this..but maybe a beer can is more important than some leaves in that front yard?? I noticed a little of "BUD" along the side of the road on the way home too. NOT ME
(It would be awful for a visitor to get injured on a sharp object like that...Yep..that can better be gone by tomorrow)

I thought cats weren't allowed either. As you know Louis that litter accumulates faster than you "can" turn around.

Jim, I thought that was a no "dog" rule, I think you should put in a requesition for more junior rangers with tight green pants to pick up that stuff. I really just want to make it clear i don't drink in the park.

Thanks,

That budweiser can looks like the "30"   I picked up yesterday on the upper Wilson. Would have been more but my garbage bag wasn't big enough. Garbage on the Wilson is really becoming a problem. On a side note, nice steelhead. The waters were absolutely perfect yesterday. Nice and clear but I did not spot or catch a steelhead yesterday. I did see 6 cow elk grazing about 500 feet upstream of Lee's camp on the side of the road of highway 6. They were about 30 feet off the highway.
