I was thinking the same thing. It seems that they hammer it a little later in sept i think. but with 4 or 5 thousand going over it seems you just might be able to get one or two to hit kwikie

I have wondered the same thing. Does anyone know whether any of the springer fishing techniques work below the dam in the fall?

One word - spinners.

Plenty of fish up there, but they all go by places that are closer.

you know I was thinking that the fishery would be a good bet right now. this is a total geuss but wihth numbers as good as they have been a guy should be able to hit some fish. I would be tossing spinners and wobblers on the hook just like anywhere else I geuss. or you could back bounce or back troll kwikies????? sounds like a good time none the less.

I fished some eggs up there last year for about an hour but the trash fish were real bad, you couldn't keep a bait on for more than a minute or two..

Who knows, I think I'll go up there this thursday and just see what's happening. I've been feeling a little lucky...
