Kool Kwikfish Koloring Kontest - Deadline Extended

Deadline update - the contest deadline has been extended to September 9th sometime around 9pm.

We've got a new sort of contest this time around: the Paint Your Own Kwikfish Kontest.

First, the prizes:
1 2004 "The Original" Ifish Kwikfish
1 2005 eyeFISH Ifish Kwikfish
1 2005 JettinFool Ifish Kwikfish

The categories upon which adult entries will be judged:
1. Best execution. Got skillz? Show 'em off.
2. Least likely to ever catch a fish. Sure, we could all take the hooks off, but what fun is that?
3. Most creative. Thinking "outside the fishbox" gets rewarded.

Prizes will be awarded one per winner at random once the winners have been chosen.

So, here's the way it works.

Part 1:

This is the image to work with. While you can post images that are based on something other than this, they will not be part of the contest nor will they be judged.

You can use whatever image editor you like for modifying the base image or you can print it out, work with it on paper (ie, crayon, markers, whatever) and post a photograph or scan of the results.

Part 2:
All entries must be named! Pick a name for your creation and make sure to include it with the image.

The disclaimers:
- Only one image per Ifisher is allowed. If you post more than image, you will be disqualified. If you are posting on behalf of another Ifisher (see below), please clearly state that you are doing so to prevent disqualification.
- Please note that I will not post an image on anyone's behalf. However, I encourage all of you to assist your fellow ifishers in posting their images. If you are posting on someone else's behalf, you must include their moniker and the name of their design.
- For the Future Ifisher's images, make sure to include their age so that they can be put into the appropriate age range.
- Be original, be creative, but if your entry (image or name) in any way tests or exceeds the bounds of good taste and and general decency, it will immediately be deleted, you will be disqualified from the contest and (if it's really that bad) your account may be locked for the duration of the contest. (Hint: if you think it might be "over the line", it most likely is. Show some restraint, please.)

The contest will be open for entries starting now and will close at 9pm Friday, September 9th. At that point, the thread will be locked and all entries will be copied to a new thread for voting by you, the Ifish members.

The final disclaimer: the rules are subject to change at any time for no particular reason at all. :grin:

Fish never hit my kwicks - in fact I'm sure salmon do not exist - ok so I lost my mind while I was distracted - I told you guys Marillion was driving me nuts

Here is my Stelth Kwick Fish - the folks at Beatem and Howe have not figured out how to make the hooks stelth out something about the space time thing and GPS satilites.

One thing I don't get: where are all the Future Ifisher entries? :whazzup: So far, we've only got one.

Thanks to the poll results, I've discovered we've got a number of folks who would like to enter but need more time. So, I'm extending the contest deadline by a week to Friday, September 9th.

well i couldnt think of anything funny to do, so i just made one that i think might do well. ( the gray is supposed to be chrome ) maybe too many pink spots, but i know pink spots are good, so i added a few in there. and the name shall be, pink polka dot people eater.....? haha

That is cool FM, too bad your not 16 yrs old. Maybe you could have some colored like that and see how they would do. I bet you would have some success. I know a person that can color them like that.
