Open seats Newport tomorrow --- FILLED
Last minute trip if I can put it together.
The conditions are just too nice to ignore.
I have drained the excess oil from the crankcase of my new 200hp Honda and need to run it any way to see if the leakage was simply due to overfill.
It had two plus qts more than it should have and that is in addition to what has leaked out and been pushed past the rings.
I plan to fish outside the closure area for moby halibut.
Ramp time would be 0830 and we'll be back about 1400.
Any short notice takers?

Re: Open seats Newport tomorrow
Was thinking of doing a half day trip but I gotta be home by 1:30 so I'm not going to even worry about it. It's going to be a darn nice day and I'm gonna miss it.

Re: Open seats Newport tomorrow
Greg, got the Tolly back in the water today. Works fine as far as I can tell. Dad and me took about a 10 mile run off the jaws just for the sake of doing it. Water was amazingly flat for being 5:00 pm. Lees coming up tommorrow and may hit the tropics for Tuna on sunday if the water looks good.

Re: Open seats Newport tomorrow
I was just about to have a snack. Now that you've said that I have reconsidered.
I can not figure out how your Dad stays so thin.
He must have the metabolisim of this dude.
We have been talking about fishing together for some time...it's not TUNA but I think we'll enjoy it all the same.
