Where are you fishing this weekend?
Just thought I'd see what folks are doing?

Re: Where are you fishing this weekend?
See... If enough folks fill this out, we can change the title to "Where not to fish, this weekend."

Re: Where are you fishing this weekend?
Going to head down to the Wilson to help out with the cleanup, then hit a few holes there. I may do some bass fishing on Sunday if it is not so dang hot out. ...or whatever pops up. How about you, Jen?

Re: Where are you fishing this weekend?
Gee, I guess if you're not fishing for salmon and/or the ocean, you're in the other category. Guess there won't be as many folks out there with those of us who are limited to bank fishing in freshwater. Still trying to decide if I want to get up before dawn to try for a summer steelie or just catch a few dozen trout in the cascades. Still beats sitting at home and I can't bring myself to complain even if I do get rained on since its so needed. Good luck to everybody, I'm sure I'll see plenty of pics of URB carnage by next week!

Re: Where are you fishing this weekend?
How about a category of "I'd really like to be fishing this weekend, but I have to work, so I'll just have to live vicariously through all the folks on Ifish that will be posting reports and pictures of places I'd really like to be"?
Or does that fall under other?

Re: Where are you fishing this weekend?
B-10 but I am scared after what just happened. Life jackets or not I hate the Ocean. Can never relax and too much can happen too fast. Not for a fish. :depressed:
I love to fish but I guess I am just a sissy.

A place that you can keep 2 nook's and most are running 30 to 40lbs.
A small river in a coastal town in Oregon.

Re: Where are you fishing this weekend?
You are not a 'sissy', you are a man who need's to overcome a fear, and I am sure there are ifisher's out there who would be glad to help you get over this fear. Not trying to preach, please understand that, sometime's a great fear we have can be traced back to early child-hood, even to past life memorie's. I have been over the Pacific 4 time's on ship's, I have nothing but respect for ALL water's, they are deserving of such, there are old sailor's, there are bold sailor's, but there are NO old, bold sailor's. Keep at it, Sir, and do not knock yourself...Feisty

Re: Where are you fishing this weekend?
Ewe! Silvers in your armpits! Icky!
I just got back from the Nehalem. Yawn. Very slow.
Didn't even see a fish caught. Heard of 8 at the tide change, but Bill and I were late, as usual.
