Ever do this?

You're bow hunting in a remote area, and you stop to rest, eat a snack, whatever. You take your bugle off and your jacket, etc. an hour later you go to call, and realize you've left the calling device back at the last resting spot. Arrrrrgh!!!
I hate that!
I will be bring an extra this year, but if any of you have a great idea on how to avoid this, I'm open to suggestions. I thought about a brain transplant, or at least getting one installed [img]graemlins/idea.gif[/img]

I always make sure I make a pile of everything I just took off on top of my pack. That way I have to put it back on to get to my pack. I have buddy whose Dad left his Binos laying next to a tree and never did find them. I am sure there is plenty of stuff laying in the woods that hunters have set down and never found again.

I usually lay anything loose - calls, bugle, cow call, bino's, etc - on top of my bow. When I start forgetting my bow is the time I'll take up golf.

I learned from experience though. I've lost face masks, bugles, gloves, canteens, all sorts of stuff. If you find any of these in good condition just go ahead and send them my way.
