Default bonito feathers

does anybody have a source for these old-style leadhead jigs with the red - i guess rhinestone eyes with feathers and no plastic skirt? There is a small but dedicated group that believes feathers alone troll and fish better than feathers with plastic. Not as good looking as a zukers or sevenstrand jig, but they have caught a ton of fish.

I obtained a bunch of the bonito feathers, they work unbelievably when bait is under 4 inches, trick is to open obtain insides of first Albe caught. I'm a bit north of you and the Albe's that come by are all under 25 lbs or peanuts as posted. Email me and I will send you scans of bonito feathers ( & my source) and improved mylar baits which I am trying to outsource ---- that easily outfish any tuna clones or what have you that you can buy in the stores at present. You may post scans of both ---- hopefully a source for mylar baits will be found.

Englunds carries the loose heads. You can by saddle hackles and tie your own feathers up. You can also put skirts on the heads for a change up.
