Try Cor-bon 135gr hp @ 1350fps.

Load it with a 400 gr. buffalo bullet out of a 50 caliber muzzleloader. It will go in if you ram it really hard and use a lot of powder. I like the groupings it gives and has some serious knock-down power.

CARP!!!,
I tried it and now my eyebrows are gone and the ringing in my ears won't quit. Pistol is in 20 piecies.
QF,
I reload for my 40S&W and can't help with your question.

I would recommend Speer Gold Dot in 185 grain if you plan on using it for personal protection. If you plan on plinking don't by the Speer as it is kind of spendy.

Every gun is different. I would do some range time and test alot of different brands and configurations.

Try going to the IPSA website and ask the webmaster who best to talk to. Doc
