First one got hit by a train. Second one is a mystery. Probably was put there by the hunter.

I heard the same train story about a month ago but someone said it happenned between Portland and St. Helens. I think it's obviously a hoax.

I think it's pretty obvious that the bottom one fell from the helicopter when they were tagging and moving it. A hunter came along, saw it in the tree and shot it with his bow but then couldn't figure out how to get it down from the tree.

This story has been floating around the net for a while now. Here is some background on it.

Another claims it is in Baltimore.

The second deer looks like a bow hunter got off one arrow. Didn't find it or didn't track it well enough. It was then carried up into the tree by a cougar.

Hmmmmmm.... The first one had to have been put there - methinks if it's been hit hard enough to "fly" that high, it'd be a total mess. Look what happens to a deer when an 18 wheeler hits one! (Good joke though...) the second might have been a cougar. Both cougar & raccoon will drag food up a tree... Great pictures. Thanks for sharing them
