Default Drift Creek-Lincoln City area

Am going down to an RV park on Drift Creek near Lincoln City next week and wondered if anyone knew if there were any fish running this time of year? Would appreciate any info.

I doubt there is much going on fishing wise on Drift Creek. It usually has to have some rain to get things going. However, just to the south is the Siletz. There is most definetly fish being caught there. I will be returning to Coyote Rock RV Park, Thursday pm. There were about 18 fall nooks weighed in over the weekend. I heard of a 40# & 43# in the creel count as well.
Where is there an RV Park on Drift Creek? I have never heard of one up there. Just curious.

Nooot quite yet, they wont get that far until there are fish in the salmon rv...that should mean there is enough water.

Drachir,

The RV Park is called Wapati and is the Lincoln City Elks Lodge's park. Our Forest Grove Elks Camper Club is going there. I have never camped there but others have and say it is right on Drift Creek. If you are an Elk, you can call the Lodge and reserve a spot. How is Coyote Rock RV? I like to try other parks and esp. on the Siletz.
