I suppose they would if they didn't mind the bobber rolling up and down about 2-3 feet every couple of seconds and you dont mind fishing 30-50 of water.

I wonder....would that actually work - maybe during a slack tide. That just might something to take a whack at on a day where you only needed one fish to fill you limit after hooking a bunch for the day.

This is a trolling cut plug/spinners off of divers fishery.

Come learn it with us from one of the top guides in the Northwest. Last year on 21Aug we hooked 18 - landed 16 between two of us.

Send me a pm if your are interested in joining us otherwise save your comments and show some respect.

Rates compared to others? I couldn't comment but I know that their calendars are full now thru the Thanksgiving. Maybe we should call your boss and see if you are worth what they are paying you?

Calvin Sorry to post on your thread. But had to correct my catch phrase its " You might be able to find a better guide but you can't pay more "

I am positive anyone taking this trip will have a great time.

Fishing with you guys was great. I have been out with quite a few Guides. There are a few I will Never fish with again. Grant Scheele is a Top Shelf Gentelman and a heck of a fisherman too. I would be pleased to fish with him again. He is always attentive to the needs of the Client with an aim towards teaching. I recommend Grant for anyone wanting to learn the ropes. Thanks again for everything.

To begin we did fill the empty seat with Mike Hyneman, Owner of Konezone Flashers. As well, our neighbor Fred, who had not been out salmon fishing for over 4 years joined us for the day. Fred had the hot rod for the day. And Mike...well we really enjoyed water testing a bunch of his lastest Konezone Flashers. Hot colors today were Emerald Green, Ice Blue, Royal Blue and Chartruse - all with the big eye holographic flash. The cool upgrade on the 2005 HST Design Flashers are extra holes milled into the Konezone allowing you to fine tune the roll. Wing and Off-Center holes to give flasher erratic wobble rotatations for extra action on your bait/lure. Mike also showed us the lasted trick - running your Konezone backward - very fishy action.

Results:
18 hooked, 12 landed w/ 4 lost and 2 nate coho released. We had a triple and two doubles. Very nice fish today with the biggest going to Fred at 27lbs. Fred also got the first fish of the day. What a hoot fishing with Fred - the stories, the jokes...he is definately on our dance card going forward.

All in all we could not have asked for a better day with the wind laying down on the flood tide for nearly flat conditions most of the day. We could have fish until dark it was so beautiful.

Thanks again to Grant for a great day - per usual.

Fred
