Default Bulls Pics

This is from my favorite scouting point. Been seeing lots of Big Deer at this spot so we mounted a Camera and look at what we got. That was Friday evening and I was in camp.
I didn't see the bulls that night but I did see the cows that were with them.

There was some bugling over the weekend but not much.

I think the Bulls are just starting to sniff around the cows. Not much Velvet left.

There is a big 6x6 in the same area.

Now if I can just figure out how to get 20 yards from them.

The lower part of that drainage is all Beaver ponds. The Elk love it down there. I'll be hiding in the mud or in a tree stand waiting to sink a broadhead into one of these babies.

Nice pics. This is gonna be your year. You've obviously done your homework and found a nice group of bulls. At the very least you'll get into the thick of them, and that's most of the fun of bowhunting, IMO.

The waypoint is right next to the Wallow Waypoints I posted.

To be honest with you Elk Hunter I am a little skeptical about the whole thing. Now that I have shot my mouth off it will look pretty bad if I don't score.

These Critters are formidable animals to get close to.

That same evening I got busted by a Cow. I was high tailing it down a logging road so I could get up wind of another area. Like a fool I was walking the road and I cut the Cheese. Next thing I know about 75 yards away a huge cow opened up and started barking at me. S.O.B. sounded like a damn pit bull. I never heard such a thing. Every Elk in the unit knew I was there. Remind me to take some Bean-O- next time.....

You don't know how to get within 20 yards? How did you get the camera within 3? Go hide out in front of a big tree in the shade and your dialed....

I am totally impressed with those pics.. HOw about we make a deal.. You take me there and I will drive, pay for everything, including food and depending on if we score, give you some more really cool stuff....I'll call for you first, pack, pay for packaging --

Am I sounding desperate -- good!

Went up to scout with my son saturday and had to get really high due to fog.. Saw some sign and what looked like Cougar sign, but not 100% sure.. Took a great pic so I can post it and everyone can tell me what it is for sure.. Had deer hair in it.
Couldn't glass anything due to fog, so went in and busted one animal - didn;t see it..

saw some pairs of what looked like woodpeckers and got smoe great pics of them too..

pm me to take me to the glory hole
