Antelope hunt Second season

I am going hunting antelope second season in the Malheur unit. Has any body hunt the first season? I hunt in the south end of the unit this is the second tag in this area the frist was a 15 3/4 inch buck.This is my 5th tag in 30 years so will be very chooiese, big or a bit differane, My wife is going to be my hunting mate this time, And she is a good hunting partner. So if anybody has hunted there this season i would like to hear from you Thanks

Ya I'm not sure about the second season but the first season last year was hot. I went one for one on a monster 11 incher. Gee O Golly I almost forgot you were with me.

I hope You hammer a 16" this year. Wish I could go but my time off is limited. Good luck and say hi to my favorite Aunt Alice.

i have hunted the stinking water mountains for elk. and gary lewis the sports writer has the early antelope tag this year i think, so if you watch the thursday bulletin, i'm sure he will write an artical.

I will be over there for the opening of Malheur II. I should be done about 8:30 AM... I probably jinxed myself, but the pivots I hunt have about 250 head on them as of this evening. Saw a couple huge ones there a few weeks back... It would be my first buck antelope. I just want to get it on the wall. If I ever draw it again, I will spend more time looking for something bigger.

I will be using memories taxidermy. He is an ifish sponsor and a great guy to chat with. He will have a receiving stand in Crane and said he will have the head back around the first of the year. Sure is a heck of a lot better than the artistic guys. IMHO

I am on My way at 3 in the morning going to the south end of the unit if i dont find what i want will move to the north until iam in Seneca the whole season will be used. Thanks to Balts and the rest of you. I dont Know about BOE but he may be good to have along to pack. when he was young he did a good job. Hope pics will follow.
