Default Replacing floor covering in a super vee

Looking for words of advice from anyone who has ever done this themselves. How tough is it? What steps do I need to take? Where do I get the vinyl? Also diamond plate has crossed my mind but I'm guessing that is a few $$ to have done. Any words of wisdom here?

Oh boy. Talking about being a dollar short and a day late.... I just had diamond plate installed in mine and kept the original floor (brand new) to install in my second boat. As luck would have it, I didn't have the time so I gave it away to a none boat owner to be used for non-boating project. If you have a spare 1.5-2.0 grand, go with the diamond plate.

I did the floor in my old fishrite. Marine plywood ($$$) and Cabelas vinyl and glue. Looked and worked great. Maybe call Stevens for a price too?

Aluminum diamond plate will polish out and become slippery after a bit of time.

Seems like I saw the vinyl material at Fisherman's Marine Supply the last trip I took through there.

I have a friend that has diamond plating in his boat. The sun really reflexes up into your face on nice days. Great way to get an even tan

1.5-2 grand sure seems like alot of money for diamond plate? How thick did you put in?

Rip it all out and go with Diamond Plate. You will be glad you decided to spend a little extra jack. You can also paint it what ever color you want. Sure helped the Sled I used to have.
