Default S & W 22a pistol

I was just curious if any of you own a model 22A Smith and Wesson. I have shot one of these pistols twice. What do you think about these pistols. I was very impressed with the feel and the way it shoots. This one had a holographic red dot scope, very nice!!! From your experiences where can I pick one of these up cheap. I would prefer to buy a new one as well. There is a gun show in Albany this weekend so I think I will check that out. Thanks

Yep, my brother and I both have one. I got the 7" and he got the 5" (? I think). I went for the longer barrel for sight radius and target shooting, but if I had to do it again I'd get the shorter barrel. His seems to balance better for me.

It's a one-off on a Model 41, but there is really a lot of difference. The 41 is the way to go if you are going to shoot any kind of serious (or semi-serious) competitive bulls-eye pistol shooting. Better slide, better trigger, better sights, but LOTS more money.

For the price I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one, but before you do, heft them both and think about the feel.

Can a guy have too many guns?
