Spring Bear?

I'm headed out wednesday for nine days of spring bear hunting. Has anybody been out? What's the report?

Saw one today that was a shooter. Waiting for Wak to arrive this weekend to take care of him. All goes well we should have some pictures by the end of next weekend. This is in SW oregon though.

We were out in the desolation unit one day, but again quite a bit of snow. It was a good chance to scout our elk country, but only the lower portions. Good luck.
