Midchannel Bank in Port Townsend area can be excellent. Also, try Pt. No Pt. and also Possession Pt. (all excellent areas for salmon).

MAKE SURE YOU READ THE REGS.....IT MAY OR MAY NOT BE OPEN AT THE TIME YOU ARE VISITING!!!!

There should be an excellent run of 10 to 15 pound silvers in the Quilescene River at that time and is about 30 minutes from Port Townsend. It is in the corner of Hood Canal before you get into the Straits of Juan De Fuca. In years past, the runs were so thick you would think you were in Alaska. Again though, read the regulations as it is watched closely and is one of the training grounds for game wardens. PM me if you want more details.
