Default New Bow? Mathews or Bowtech

I have a huge problem, I can't make up my mind on what new hunting bow to purchase. I use a release and hunt on the ground as well as out of treestands. I have narrowed it down to Two brands Mathews and Bowtech. I have shot Bowtech's Patriot bow and Mathews Legacy and like them both. Anybody have any info or opinions they would like to express on these two brands of bows I would greatly appreciate it.

<font size="2" face="verdana, arial, helv">Thanks, the Legacy is the bow I am leaning towards. The lack of hand shock is amazing when shooting this bow.

JMO,

Love my Mathews.

I really like the fact that I can re-string the bow with just an allen wrench in the field.

Quality bow, very durable, smooth quiet accurate, light

I have two bowtech bows. The best bows I have ever shot. Patriot with high brace height and a Pro 38 short brace height. Both are excellent bows. Both very quiet The Pro 38 very fast 324 grain arrow shoots 307 fps @ 29" @ 60#. The Patriot is my hunting bow with higher brace height it doesn't hit my heavy jacket. It is slower @ 60# @ 29 " 384 grain arrow 265 fps. This is my 2 cents of info.

I have the MQ-1 from mathews, if I were to buy a new bow I would get another mathews....legacy specs look good for me too.

Both great bows, but you should look at the new hoyts. The cam & half bows are fast and quiet. My buddy has a legacy and he ain't to happy with my hoyt being quieter than his bow.
My .02
