Rabbit shooting ???

I just got four free days to camp and am wondering about jack rabbits. Any body been shooting them out towards Burns or any where else in eastern Oregon lately.

went scouting hepner- ukia area and the rabbits were thick most I have seen there in a long time. I think we are entering a high cycle in the population they also are getting thick in canby too like I havent seen for Quite a few years. dumb too I almost got one with a rock.

going to scout for deer in the Long Creek area and up in Silvies unit and thought that I could hit some good spots for rabbits. A certain kid of mine wants to just rabbit hunt and the wife just wants a lake to be by so I can think of a couple of good lakes by both and I can do all three...I hope

Just spent 3 days driving through there. The heaviest concentrations we saw were in Riley on Hwy 20, On Lake County road 310 North of Plush, and on Hwy 31 at the southeast Fort Rock turnoff. I also saw a ton of them in Mcdermitt, but that is a heck of a long ways from Long Creek.

way thick in christmas valley went to akali lake and had a complete shoot fest and also towards adel their everywhere!
