Default Mid Valley Turkey

Hesitant to post about this, but looking for spots for Mid-valley turkeys. Finding birds and been out knocking for a few days now, just can't get any permission. Was hoping someone might know of some other spots in the Adair, Kings Valley, Philomath, Corvallis area to try. Long shot I know, but if you don't mind, e-mail me at bjm427@hotmail.com. I will definately return the favor.

Hey Birdhunter,

Where were you tuesday when the wolf bill came up? You planning to be at the show tomorrow(commission)? What do you think of the wolf recovery plan being proposed?

Busy Tuesday so I couldn't talk. Already turned in written testimony. Was at the Commission meeting yesterday. I'll try to post the details of that in another thread when I have a little more time. Interesting stuff.

Wish I could help you. I have 20 or so that roost in the firs outside my front door. We have them come in the garage if we don't keep the door closed. I bought a tag a few years back and walked up within 10 yards of a tom with a beard that almost touched the ground. Just couldn't shoot it when it acted so tame or maybe lovesick! They make a terible mess around the house. I pop them with a bb gun to get them out of the trees over the cars. Too many houses and too tame of birds to call it hunting.
